Phillip R. Hull

Phillip R. Hull, affectionately known as “Bobby,” passed away unexpectedly on November 24, 2025, at Temecula Valley Hospital in Temecula, California. He was born on September 28, 1956, in Washington, Pennsylvania, to Delories E. Hull.

Phillip had a deep love for growing plants, reading, drawing, and doing odd jobs. In his younger years, he enjoyed hitchhiking across the country, embracing adventure and new experiences.

He attended Washington High School in Washington, Pennsylvania, and Job Corps in San Marcos, Texas. Phillip also studied at the Art Institute of Contemporary Art and FIDM Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, California.

Phillip is survived by two brothers, Aaron (Tracey) Hull of Akron, Pennsylvania, and Richard T. Hull of Altoona, Pennsylvania; and two sisters, Mitchelle R. Hull of Dallas, Texas, and Jon’a Jacobs Holly of High Point, North Carolina. He also leaves behind two very close friends, Pete and Jeanie Olmos, along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was especially devoted to his beloved cat, Boo Boo Kitty.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Delories E. Hull; his wife, Cecilia K. Deaky; one brother, Michael Hull; and two sisters, Olivia J. Hull and Lisa M. Martin.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sunflower Cremation Services in Riverside, California.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
