Frank “Frankie” Avila Jr. passed away on August 13, 2025, in Riverside, CA, at the age of 62. He was born on September 20, 1962, in Santa Ana, CA.

Frank was a beloved husband to Ana and a devoted father to his sons, Christopher and Frank III. He was preceded in death by his daughter Samantha, whose memory remained close to his heart. As a grandfather, he cherished time spent with Mackenna, Frankie, Gwendolynn, Cameron, Frank IV (Panchito), Juliette, Damian, and Clark.

He is lovingly remembered by his sisters Gina, Carrie, Diane and Monique. Frank was also preceded in death by his brothers Randall and Michael and his parents, Frank Sr and Gloria. His extended family and many others who knew him mourn his passing.

Frank found deep joy in fishing especially in the peaceful surroundings of Mammoth Lakes, CA.

These trips offered him moments of reflection and connection with nature that brought him lasting peace.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Yorba Regional Park, 7600 E. La Palma Ave. Anaheim, CA 92807.

He will be missed dearly. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
