Patrick William Ramos, 77, of Riverside, California, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Woolwich, England, and came to America at just six months old aboard the Queen Elizabeth with his parents. Patrick grew up in the United States, where he built a full and meaningful life. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Medic during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1971. HIs compassion and bravery while caring for others in difficult times were reflections of the kindness and strength that defined his life.
Patrick was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Paula; his two daughters, Amanda Bowie of Riverside and Heather Mitchell of Eakly, Oklahoma; and his sons-in-law, Dallas Bowie and Lloyd Mitchell. Patrick also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom were the light of his life.
For the past 25 years, Patrick and Paula made their home in Riverside, where they shared countless happy memories. A die-hard fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Patrick rarely missed a game and loved cheering for his team through every season.
Patrick will be remembered for his loving heart, his sense of humor, and the quiet strength that touched everyone who knew him. He lived with honor, loved deeply, and a legacy of kindness and courage that will continue in the hearts of all who loved him.
A memorial service honoring Patrick’s life will be held on
 Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 9:45 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California
